The opening conference entitled ’Impovement of research an innovation potential of Research Institute for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Irrigation (HAKI) to promote technological development in Central and Eastern European aquaculture’ (AQUAREDPOT), a FP7-REGPOT-2012-2013-1 framework programme was hold on 19th March, 2013. The program was organised by the National Research and Innovation Centre Research Institute for Fisheries and Aquaculture and it took place in Szarvas, Hungary.
Participants came from the local, county and national offices. Fish farmers and universities dealing with aquaculture education also were present. Furthermore collaborators of the regional television participated in the conference.
