The scientific communication training for young researchers successfully held

17-20 March 2015.

The short training course on the publication skills has just finished today on 20 March 2015. More than 25 participants learned about the principles and practices of scientific communication at NARIC HAKI during the last days in 17-20 March. The mainly young researchers arrived from the institutions of the National Agriculture and Research Centre with different scientific backgrounds.

Enviromental impact assessment and ecosystem services 24-26 November 2014

 In the frame of AQUAREDPOT project three experts of IFREMER (French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea) have visited our institution in 24-26 November 2014. Ms. Myriam Callier, Ms. Cyrille Przybyla and Mr. Jean –Paul Blancheton visited the NARIC HAKI to discuss on environmental impact assessment and ecosystem services. The visit can be considered as a continuation of the short term visit to IFREMER station in Palavas-les-Flots in a similar topic: Environmental impact assessment and intensive aquaculture.

AquaSpace: Increased space for Aquaculture!

The AquaSpace H2020 project started on 01/03/2015.
The National Agricultural Research and Innovation Centre (NARIC-HAKI) as well as the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (IFREMER) are both among the AquaSpace H2020 project partners.  The three-year project, which has been started just in the beginning of March 2015, aims to provide increased space for aquaculture to allow increased fish production in Europe. The consortium includes 22 partners and the freshwater segment is represented by the Hungarian NARIC-HAKI and Biharugra Fish Farm Ltd.
