The short training course on the publication skills has just finished today on 20 March 2015. More than 25 participants learned about the principles and practices of scientific communication at NARIC HAKI during the last days in 17-20 March. The mainly young researchers arrived from the institutions of the National Agriculture and Research Centre with different scientific backgrounds.
The invited lecturers Gabor Lovei (Aarhus University) and Zoltán Elek (MTA ÖBI) have more than 10 years experience in teaching and promoting publication skills on interactive way.
The course first gave a general overview on the scientific literature and than a detailed interactive presentation was given on how to write scientific paper. The presentation was accompanied with colorful and useful practical exercises giving real-life experiences to the audience. The course enabled participants to get familiar with basic rules and practice of scientific paper composing, positioning, constructing figures through lectures, group exercise, interactive discussion, practical demonstration and individual work.
The course was organized in the frame of the AQUAREDPOT project.
